Happy 2025!

Happy New Year!🎉

How did your 2024 go?

It is a new year. So, I know you are asking me, "Why reflect on 2024?" It is a good question. Sometimes, it is helpful to look back to move forward positively. Perhaps you did that in the last week of December as the new year approached. If so, I applaud you!👏🏾

There are occasions when we need more time. I know I did. Last week, I continued to reflect on 2024 to get my footing. A lot happened personally and professionally. There were highs and lows, but they were learning experiences for 2025. It is important to be true to myself, and I cannot be without deep reflection and introspection.

I do not share this much in my The Thoughtful Listener business, but I am a woman of deep faith. It guides me and the work I do. I am grateful for it.

In 2025, I hope you are authentic in who you are. Yes, there are times when it is appropriate to share certain things, but there are times when it is not. Be discerning, but be true to yourself.

Active listening is a gift to which I serve people. I love it! I am excited about new opportunities in the coming year.🤩

I hope you have new opportunities in 2025 to use your gifts to serve people. Let us cheer each other on and elevate our gifts and skills for greater understanding. Please utilize your active listening skills to provide a safe space for yourself and others to be authentic. Thank you!

Happy thoughtful listening in 2025!
